Sint Nicolaashoeve

The Sint Nicolaas is a stately old farmstead, built in 1858, and it has a rich history. Over one hundred years ago the farmstead, apart from being a farm by itself, also served as a home for old and/or disabled farmhands. These farmhands could retire here and, if fallen ill, they would well be taken care of. However, they had to stick to the rules that existed in those days. For instance, they had to obey to the ‘father” and “mother” of the farmstead, they allhad to dress the same and they had to attend church daily. Now you can stay in the same place that once served as sleeping quarters for the farmhands. It has been totally renovated into luxury apartments.

A convenient staircase will lead you to the attic of the Sint

Nicolaashoeve where two spacious two bedroom apartments are situated. In the Summerhouse, next to the farmstead’s main building, you will find a two bedroom apartment and a one bedroom apartment.

At the other side of the main building another two bedroom apartment is situated. The old stable, at the ground floor of the main building, has been renovated into a three bedroom apartment.
